We develop and test applications for all major smartphone platforms as well as for basic feature phones. While the former utilize the processing power and integrated devices of smartphones to deliver rich entertainment and productivity applications the latter work within the constraints of a basic feature phone to deliver the desired applications. Besides standalone applications we develop distributed applications that involve interaction between mobile applications and back-end servers and web services. We have delivered applications that rank near the top of their categories in app stores.

Fragmentation is a major challenge that faces those who seek to develop applications for mobile platforms. Device platform variations, variations in OS versions within a device platform, display resolution and form factor variations as well as variations in capabilities between device models present a significant barrier in developing applications that serve a wide audience. The cost of devices on which to test and support a given application increases with the size of the target audience. Maintaining applications with new models and platform versions appearing in the market at a rapid pace is yet another challenge.

Our breadth of experience in all major mobile platforms as well as with JavaME and some of the emerging platforms ensures that our clients can develop applications for a variety of platforms with one team.
